| I have used spacer plates rather than new wings to extend the front (cost saving measure) Having tacked the wings on the extension needed is 110mm not the expected 90mm, I don't see how 90mm extension can be used as the front panal already needs cutting to clear the alternator. A good friend is going to do the filler work for me as he is an exellent sprayer/bodywork technician. Due to the high cost I have been quoted for painting the front of the mini I have decided to do it myself, it has cost £295 for all of the equipment and paint. |
